Lahiniriko Rishad, Ranomay's improved stove producer

Lahiniriko Rishad is a member of the community organization that manages the forests around his village of Ranomay. He lives about 150 km northeast of Toliara. He attended an improved stove “fatana mitsitsy” production supported by WWF.

Since this year, he is the Mister "fatana mitsitsy" of his village. His "fatana mitsitsy" improved stoves follows Madagascar's standards office requirements. It cooks a pot of rice with only two small logs, when traditional stoves consume twice as much.
