World's first Climate Camp takes place in Washington DC

The new protected areas will help protect the endangered Brazilian jaguar (Panthera onca) and other Amazon species.

Climate Camp was the first event of its kind bringing together nearly 150 conservationists, scientists and academics. It set out to encourage participants to redesign their conservation approaches to include climate change. Brian Thomson was there and he has this report.
